Ben
Goodman

I build things that make complicated work simpler—and I care deeply about the people doing that work.

My career has been shaped by frontline operations, client leadership, technology, and the belief that a better system can change what a team is capable of.

My story

A life built through service, reinvention, and family.

Ben with Katya and their son at the beach

I was born in Memphis, spent most of my childhood in Calgary, Canada, and eventually made my home in Kentucky. I served in the United States Navy during Operation Southern Watch—an experience that taught me preparation, accountability, and what it means to be responsible for more than yourself.

My wife, Katya, is from Belarus. We found each other in a world of billions of people and built a life together across borders, cultures, and a great deal of uncertainty. Being her husband and being a father are the most important roles I have.

The habits stayed with me: know where you are, know where you are going, and take responsibility for getting people there safely.

Professional work

Leadership close enough to the work to improve it.

I lead a multi-site healthcare logistics workforce program for Manpower—supporting staffing quality, client delivery, associate experience, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Selected project

Operations Tracker

I designed and built the Operations Tracker after seeing critical work spread across roughly ten separate spreadsheets and manual trackers. It is an operational workflow and visibility platform for multi-site staffing—not a replacement for enterprise systems.

The system connects orders, recruiting pipelines, starts and ends, onboarding scheduling, training scheduling, payroll issues, metrics, audit history, exports, and administrative controls. Records move through the process with fewer duplicate entries, fewer disconnected handoffs, and clearer ownership.

I defined the business requirements, workflows, validation rules, role structure, KPIs, and automations, then built the working platform around how managers and recruiters actually operate. Status logic, locked records, standardized data, permissioned views, and audit trails create accountability without adding more manual work.

Scout with the Troviqo logo

Troviqo began with a simple frustration: people should not have to drive from store to store—or scroll through endless national listings—to learn whether something is actually available nearby.

I founded Troviqo to make local discovery more useful. Scout is the friendly guide at the center of a brand being built to help people find what they need closer to home.

Beyond work

Curiosity is the thread running through everything.

01

Family first. My best life is the one I share with Katya and our family.

02

Maker by nature. I enjoy building software, solving mechanical problems, and learning by doing—from business systems to working on our cars.

03

Keeper of stories. I am researching and preserving the remarkable career of my father, Mark Goodman, a musician, producer, broadcaster, and familiar face in Canadian commercials.

04

Loyal fan. I follow the Detroit Red Wings, the New York Yankees, and the teams close to home.
